HORIBA U-52 Water Quality Meter

HORIBA U-52 Water Quality Meter is designed for professionals who demand accurate and reliable water testing. Available with a choice of 2-meter, 10-meter, or 30-meter cables, this advanced meter can assess a variety of water quality parameters, including pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, salinity, total dissolved solids (TDS), seawater specific gravity, temperature, turbidity, and oxidation-reduction potential (ORP).

With an impressive temperature range of -10 to 55°C and a maximum sensor diameter of approximately 96mm, the U-52 is equipped for diverse testing environments. The probe length of about 340mm ensures ease of use in various water depths.

Calibration is streamlined through the AUTO mode, utilizing the Auto Calibration Solution and beaker provided with the instrument. This calibration process, requiring only 500ml of the 100-4 HORIBA solution, facilitates single-point calibrations for pH (at pH 4), conductivity (at 4.49 mS/cm at 25°C), turbidity (at zero), and dissolved oxygen (DO, through air calibration).

Alternatively, users can opt for full manual calibration across all parameters, using a range of calibration solutions. Manual calibration is also performed through Australian Scientific during your six-monthly or twelve-monthly service requests.

Data management features enhance the user experience with an auto hold function that freezes average data values on the screen, allowing ample time for verification or transcription. Additionally, built-in diagnostic functions alert users to any errors, ensuring precise readings. For seamless data transfer, the U-52 includes an integral USB connection; however, the USB cable must be purchased separately and comes with compatible software.

The U-52 also offers selectable measurement units, enabling operators to easily report data in their preferred formats without the hassle of conversions. With its robust features and user-friendly design, the HORIBA U-52 Water Quality Meter is the ultimate tool for comprehensive water quality analysis in any setting.
